Pastor Hollie holt-woehl
Interim Pastor
Pastor Hollie has been ordained as a pastor for twenty-eight years and served congregations in rural, urban, and suburban settings. She served a two-point parish Louisburg (Louisburg, MN) and St Paul’s Lutheran Church (Bellingham, MN) as a solo pastor. Then she served as an associate pastor at House of Hope Lutheran Church in New Hope, MN. In 2007 she completed a Ph.D. in Pastoral Care and Counseling, with particular emphasis on the congregation. Her dissertation, "Congregations as Trinitarian Communities: Accepting, Welcoming, and Supporting People with Chronic Mental Illness," explored congregations who have welcomed people with mental illness into the life of the congregation. Since 2008 she has served as an adjunct professor at Luther Seminary in St Paul, teaching the course “Ministry with Persons with Mental Illness and Their Families.” After completing her Ph.D. she has served as interim pastor at River of Life Lutheran Church (twice), Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, and Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church all in Minneapolis, Light of the World Lutheran Church in Farmington, MN, South Santiago Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, MN, and most recently at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel, MN. She also serves as an adjunct assistant professor of Pastoral Care at St. John’s School of Theology in Collegeville. In August 2018 her book "They Don’t Come with Instructions: Cries, Wisdom, and Hope for Parenting Children with Developmental Challenges", was published by Fortress Press. It is a companion for parents, family members, and faith communities through the journey of raising a child with autism, ADHD/ADD, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Pastor Hollie grew up in Becker, MN and, four years ago, she bought the family farm, returning to the area after thirty-five years. She is married to Randall and they have two adult sons, Nicholas and Micah. Randall is a Provider Data Consultant for Optum in Eden Prairie and is a full-time telecommuter. Optum is a division of United Health Group. Nicholas is a Clinical Lead Mental Health Practitioner for RADIAS Health, and his wife, Jess, is a Social Worker at Methodist Hospital. They live in Crystal, MN. Micah lives at home and works as a stocking team member at Fleet Farm in Monticello. They enjoy gardening, camping, walking, and hiking.

I live in Collegeville Township with my husband Robert and our three cats. I work full-time as a Legal Assistant at the Stearns County Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, I was a 911 Dispatcher for 12 years. I enjoy spending time with family, being outside in nature, camping, hiking, anything involving animals, and I’m trying to learn piano.
Hello, my name is Zach and I am 22 years old. A little bit about myself is I served in the US Army for four years and following my discharge I worked as both a behavioral health and mental health therapist. While working in the Army and as a therapist I was a Children's Ministry Director at a church in Arlington, Virginia. I grew up locally in Sauk Rapids, MN. I have eight siblings ranging from 13-35 years of age, along with I have two nieces and two nephews as well. I didn't grow up in the church often like most would assume. I was the little kid giving sermons in our living room on Sundays we weren't able to make it to make it feel like we had gone. I had strayed from my faith in my teens and with hardships asked god to lead my way in which he opened door after door leading me to where I am now and helping me find my way on this path and I couldn't be happier.
